Do I qualify for a free solar panel?
To access the free solar panels available under the ECO 4 Scheme you need to meet the criteria as laid down by the Government under the scheme.
You must either be a homeowner or live in a privately rented house. If you live in housing association or council housing you are not eligible for any type of solar panel under this scheme.
One member of your household must receive certain benefits, it doesn’t matter if the rest of the household work, as long as one of you receive a qualifying benefit.
Alternatively, under the ECO 4 flex scheme, even if everyone in the household does work, but it is under £31,000 – you could still be eligible for funding.

Which solar panels are best?
