To be able to claim your air source heat pump through the Green Homes Scheme, you will need to meet certain criteria as laid down by the Government. We can help you to find out if you qualify. To apply for your air source heat pump you must firstly be a homeowner.
If you live in rented property you will not be eligible for the air source heat pump through the Green Homes Scheme. However, there are other fundings that we can access for you if you live in a private rental, and these schemes are always based on your circumstances, not on those of your landlord.
Always check with us, before making assumptions about which fundings you can and can’t qualify for. Secondly, either you or any other member of your household must receive a qualifying benefit to claim your scheme for an air source heat pump. The following benefits shown on this page are qualifying benefits, but we will help you to check which of these benefits you receive.
Even if you aren’t in receipt of any benefits and work, under the ECO 4 Flex scheme, if you earn less than £31,000 per year – you could still be eligible to receive funding
At Greener Home Projects we are experienced with helping people to get their funding. We will be able to help you access any scheme that you may be able to, depending upon your house and your circumstances. Don’t delay, get in touch today.
You can currently get a funding for an air source heat pump to be installed in your house if you meet the qualifying criteria. This scheme is part of the Government’s Green Homes Funding and the renewable heat incentive.
The renewable heat incentive RHI is a scheme designed by the Government to encourage more environmentally friendly heating solutions for homes across the UK, including ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, or solar thermal panels.
The Government has been known to alter schemes with little warning, so the best time to jump on board with the renewable heat incentive RHI scheme is today. These schemes for air source heat pumps won’t be around forever, so don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy reduced heating bills for no cost to you.

We are experienced with the whole process, from accessing your renewable heat incentive RHI scheme to installing the air source heat pump in your home. All our engineers are trained, insured, qualified, and registered.
To install air source heat pumps under the Green Homes funding and renewable heat incentive scheme all our engineers must be PAS 2030:2017 (Publicly Available Specification) accredited, and will have a registration number, and be Trust Mark and registered. Your house is your home and our engineers always respect this. We are courteous and professional.
We are quick and efficient, you don’t want engineers wandering around in your homes for months, you want your air source heat pump quickly fitted with the minimum disruption to your daily life, and so do we. Our engineers are very good at working around your life and your requirements while fitting your air source heat pump. The only thing we want to leave behind is a warm glow!

The great thing about using the renewable heat incentive scheme to get your air source heat pump fitted is the fact that you will save money. Not only does the scheme pay for the installation costs of your air source heat pumps, so you don’t have to (as long as you meet the qualifying requirements) but it then saves you money.
The cost of running an air source heat pump heating system is significantly cheaper than running an old-fashioned inefficient boiler. The amount of money that you will save by using an air source heat pump will depend on how much heating and hot water you use, the size of your house, and how well insulated your house is. In some instances, we can save you even more money by helping you access an insulation funding under another scheme, the Energy Companies Obligation ECO scheme, as well as accessing your Green Homes scheme.
A well-insulated home will save you even more money, on top of the money you are already saving by having an air source heat pump heating system. Everyone wants more money in their pocket and warm toes, so don’t hang around, claim your available schemes, including your air source heat pump today.

There are two types of air source heat pump systems and our expertise is important in making sure that you have the right heat pump system. Only the air to water heat pump system is eligible for the renewable heat incentive scheme.
The air to water heat pump system takes the air from outside and condenses it which makes it hotter before using that energy to heat the water that makes up your central heating system. This will provide you with hot water as well as hot radiators throughout your house.
The air to air heat pump system simply takes the air from outside, condenses it to heat it, and then uses fans to blow that hot air into your house. This type of heat pump does not qualify for funding, so the company that you use to install your air source heat pump must understand both the scheme and eligibility system as well as the engineering side of the installation.
The modern technology that has been developed around air source heat pumps and ground source heat enables you to heat your house without using fossil fuels. This is better for the environment and better for your pocket.
It’s a win-win!
The Government is constantly changing the funding that they offer, which is why we encourage everybody to apply today for their air source heat pumps. At present the Green Homes Scheme and the renewable heat incentive schemes are available and you could benefit from these schemes enabling you to install air source heat pumps in your homes.
But the Government is known to change their minds frequently and with little warning, so our advice is always to act quickly and not to miss out on the funding that are currently available. We have no guarantees how long these schemes will be around, so if you want an air source heat pump to have a warmer house as well more money at the end of the month, the best time to act is now.
Don’t miss out on claiming your funding for your air source heat pump today.
